Open-Xchange - The project

Open-Xchange deliver Open-Source software-based scaleable and integrated e-mail and Groupware solutions to companies, educational Institutes and authorities.

The task

The task involved developing two different systems to work optimally with the customer‘s software.
A particularly spacesaving, quiet SME solution for application in office environments and, for high user
numbers, a 19“ enterprise version for application in server cabinets.

Individual design

For the SME solution the proven Pyramid DesQFlex platform was modified to customer requirements and equipped with an individual design.The base of the enterprise version was a Supermicro System, for which a bezel was created in the customer‘s design.

Logistics, delivery and support

The required components are procured by Pyramid, in order to ensure permanent,rapid availability. The appliances are assembled on-demand by Pyramid and delivered pre-configured, ready for use.
