Merging ecology and economy

The 80plus initiative was founded in 2004 with the objective of propagating more energy-efficient power supplies for PCs and Servers. Since 2007 80plus power supplies are part of the EnergyStar 4.0 specification. The 80plus initiative has 4 different levels of certification (Bronze, Silver, Gold und Platinum), which are udapted on a regular basis.

80plus and Pyramid

Since 2006 all Pyramid models feature 80plus certified power supplies with at least Bronze label.

The Pyramid server platforms may be configured with 80plus PSUs up to platinum level, please adress our sales team. Energy-efficient power supplies do not only save energy they have secondary effects as well: less heat dissipation means higher reliability and silent systems.
