The company was founded in 1985 in Freiburg/Baden-Württemberg, where our main offices are still located today. On site there are currently 50 employees working in the areas of product management, sales, purchasing, service and marketing. On site we develop prototypes and service our customers. Further the location incorporates general administration as well as management of the company.

Pyramid in Erfurt

In September 2007 our new factory and logistics center came on stream, located close to the city of Erfurt in the region of Thuringia. This was an important step in the expansion of Pyramid, as it has set the foundation for further growth. Currently 45 employees are taking care of incoming goods, shipment, production, quality assurance, and production management, to secure flawless operations. Given the close, excellent location to the air-freight center of DHL (dispatcher) in Leipzig we save time and money for deliveries within Germany and Europe. With issue of this catalogue, construction of the third workshop of the Erfurt factory will have started.

Pyramid International

Besides a Sales office in the US, Pyramid is now also represented in France and Italy. With this step, Pyramid is following the growing customer request in the European countries as well as overseas. Pyramid customers abroad appreciate our industrial capacity and praise our extraordinary logistical handling of deliveries and technical support.

Datacenter and HPC

For many years Pyramid has successfully produced technical-scientific HPC-Clustersystems,
for commercial use, deployed in leading hosting electronic data processing centers, working with serverhardware. All products in our range regarding electronic data processing centers are marked “HPC”.
