Pyramid Freiburg

FREIBURG
Pyramid Computer GmbH has had its head office in
Freiburg, Baden-Württemberg since the company was founded in 1985. Half of the 100 employees are currently located here in the product management, sales, purchasing, service and marketing departments. Customer care and the development of innovative products and proto-
types are all based here. This is also home to company administration and the board of management.

 

 

Pyramid Erfurt

ERFURT
The new production-site and logistics centre in Erfurt, Thuringia
came on stream in September 2007. A major step in Pyramid's
expansion strategy, this site was the foundation for further growth.
Its proximity to the Leipzig DHL air freight centre and the excellent logistical position in the centre of Germany and Europe save both
time and money. A further production facility was added in 2009.

INTERNATIONAL
Pyramid has sales offices in the USA, France, the UK and
Italy as well as a Global Service network of 102 partners in
over 200 locations. The Global Service develops customer
projects, from the planning to the roll-out stage. International
Pyramid customers appreciate the 'Made in Germany' label and the outstanding logistical performance, from
deliveries to technical service.

Pyramid Computer GmbH was founded in 1985 by the managing directors Frieder Hansen und Niko Hensler. In November 2007 eCAPITAL entrepreneurial Partners and a private investor backed a capital increase.
Pyramid has a nominal equity of € 760.000.

The accrual of capital accelerated the international expansion and opened the door to new market segments in 2008. Many new, successful projects were acquired, primarily solutions for OEM's, Medical and Automation.
