Depending on which area a product is designed for and how customers should be addressed, the requirements for product approvals change. In the European context, the CE-conformity is expected, in the U.S. market UL and FCC, GOST-R for Russia and the CCC certification for China. Basis of the various national certifications is usually the CB method. Pyramid systems are developed in relation to these requirements:

• only components that meet the required international safety standards for electrical products are selected
• the product is prepared for the necessary tests.
